Ashley M. Alteri, Ph.D.

Dr. Ashley Alteri, Ph.D., J.D., is an Assistant Professor of Management in the School of the Professions. Dr. Alteri earned her Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy, focusing on Public Management, from State University of New York, University at Albany. She also earned an M.A. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Alteri is an attorney and worked in human resources and management in both the public and private sectors.

Dr. Alteri's research interests focus on labor and employment issues within public and private sector workplaces. She is particularly interested in the intersection between theory, employment laws, and workplace policies; and how management and human resources professionals can make better decisions when evaluating workplace policies.
