Advisement is mandatory for all Buffalo State students. You must seek advisement from your departmental adviser before registering for classes. You will work with a faculty member in shaping your current education to achieve your future career plans. E-mails are sent to all pre-business and business majors during the normal registration period each semester.
Find Your Adviser
Contact the Business Department Ms. Carol Bradley, department secretary, at (716) 878-4239, who will provide the name and office location of your assigned advisor. You may also find your advisor listed on your Degree Works record.
Meet With Your Adviser
Seek out your adviser to schedule an advisement session during their regularly scheduled office hours, by appointment, by phone, or by e-mail.
Preparing For Your Session
Review your Degree Works report prior to your session and bring a copy of it with you.
